About the Owner

Hi, I'm Errik Koening, owner of Koda Home & Garden.

What can I say; I have always had a passion for gardening, landscaping, tinkering and repairing. Some people get a thrill out of skydiving or driving a Corvette but I ‘geek out’ over a new lawnmower and staining the deck. My interest was cultivated after taking several courses in gardening, landscaping and woodworking at Dakota County & Technical College. In addition to my formal training, I gained a lot of landscaping experience working at the Mustard Seed and Mom's Landscaping & Design. I also gained invaluable fix-it experience from my time as a Sales Representative at Home Depot. These valuable experiences as well as my passion for the field have enabled me to start my own business.

I live in the Orono/Long Lake area. When I'm not working, you can generally find me out in the cities partaking in the Twin Cities craft beer scene, enjoying great food from one of the great restaraunts in town and working on projects at my own home.
